How to Make a Donation

- Receipt of the wills for donation
- Receipt of the wills for donation. (by calling or direct visit)
- Investigates the relevant data. (including status and values)

- Acceptance of Artifacts and Letters of Donation
- The museum accepts artifacts and letters of donation and issues a letter of (provisional) acceptance in accordance with the determination by the Donation Deliberation Council or internal decision

- Storage
- The museum approves the acceptance of artifacts and issues a letter of acceptance for the donated artifacts

- Attribution to the local authority
- Registration of artifacts
Restriction of Donation
- If there is any possibility of dispute related to the process of donation or ownership.
- If it is not valuable as a cultural heritage due to severe damage.
- If the donor requests stipulations that the museum cannot accept.
Processing Materials after a Donation
- Store by registering as artifacts in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Remains.
- Display with priority in the case of any special exhibitions related to the donated materials.
- Publish a source book and promote ‘special exhibitions with donated materials’ in consideration of the quantity and value of donated materials.
- Promote registration as ‘Important Materials’ if donated materials have a very high value as a cultural heritage.
